Recast

How Originals Work

1. You create an Original video containing your audio.
2. After you post your Original video, click the icon "Add to Recast" located at the lower righthand side of each video.
3. Your audio is reviewed for Recast eligibility.
4. If approved, your audio is added to the Recast library.
5. Other Casters can then create their own videos using your audio.

How Recast Works

1. Within our mobile app, when you create a new video, click "Add Sound".
2. Select an audio clip from the Recast Sound Library.  That clip will then be attached to your video.
3. Tap the Record button and your sound clip will play while you record your video.
4. Create your own visuals.  Lip sync to perform or lip-sync to dialog in your own style.

Your Recast copy will be listed next to the original on the Recast Thumbnail page for that audio click.  New Fans will be able to easily find and follow you.

Recasts are built from Originals. The Original Creator provides the audio, while Recasters contribute their own visuals and creativity.

Audio Guidelines

• Your voice and spoken audio should be clear and easy to understand.
• Background noise should be limited whenever possible.
• Music used in the background must be copyright and royalty free.
• Copyrighted music, TV audio, movie clips, or protected content will not be accepted.
• Audio submissions that are especially funny, flirty, relatable, dramatic, confident, or easy to lip sync to are more likely to perform well.

• Designed to make viewers want to create their own version
